In addition, the issue of surge tting is attraing renewed intert since this form of immunity is now a must for almost all eleronic produs for accs to the global market.

Fully compliant with the requirements called for in the 2ndedition of IEC 61000-4-5 standard, the LSS-15AX seri simulators provide a tting facility for up to 15kV tt voltage without sacrificing safety and ease of use. The LSS-15AX simulators generate the two combination puls 1.2/50 µs (8/20 µS) and 10/700 µS (5/320 µS).

| Very intuitive settings can be done by the istance of the well configured user-interface consisting of a 5-inch LCD, ten-key, funions keys and others. Coupling mod are graphically shown, allowing the operator to sele the dired mode and allows easy reference of settings when the tt is in progrs.
| | This button, easily accsible and placed on the front panel, enabl the operator to s the generation of the puls anytime he/she dir. In addition to the high voltage power, the operator can turn off the EUT.
| | A safely interlock is provided through the special dign high voltage conneor. The high voltage circuitry be aivated when the conneor is not correly positioned or not firmly locked.

When manual mode tt is seleed in the menu display, the corrponding tt setting display will be shown. The output voltage, weform and other tt parameters can be set. Unnecsary items are indicated lightly and the simulator do not accept change in setting. |

| | AC/DC INJEION SETTING DISPLAY
Prs the coupling mode key. Coupling mode seleion screen will appear. The example shows the 3-phase AC CDN screen on which coupling and return lin can be set. On the telecom CDN setting screen the number of lin (2 or 4 lin), limit ristance (25 ohm or 40 ohm) and return line (1, 2, 3, 4 or PE) can be set. |
